On a flat landscape reclaimed from Lough Gara, on the old N shore of a small triangular bay (max. dims c. 150m NW-SE; c. 130m NE-SW) open to the lake at NW. Oval cairn (dims 11m NW-SE; 8m NE-SW; H 1.5m) mantled at N and NE by spoil from modern water holes, which contains decayed hazel posts. Some bronze rings were recovered near this monument (Lucas 1971, 220). Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
