On a low knoll. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 44.5m N-S; 42.8m E-W) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 4-4.9m; int. H 0.3-0.7m; ext. H 1.3m at E to 1.9m at N to 2.7m S-W), and a fosse (Wth of base 2.5-4.5m; D 0.2m) SW-W-NE. There is a modernised entrance (Wth 4.1m) at ESE, and an E-W road immediately S of the bank at S.
