Visible as an island feature on aerial photographs (ACAP V221, 127/8), close to the S shore of the Callow Lough of Lough Gara. It could not be confirmed on the ground, although some scattered wood and animal bones were visible. Crannog (RO008-029001-) is c. 20m to the E. (Fredengren 2002, App. 1, P 64; Kiln 027)
