On a level landscape. Discovered during 2003 in monitoring a road project. Oval pit (dims. 2m x 1m) filled with charred material and with a distinct reddenend clay edge was discovered and preserved unexcavated. It may be a corn-drying kiln. (Halliday 2006, 4; Gannon 2004 6, site 6)
