On a SE-facing slope overlooking the River Shannon, c. 230m to the E. Circular grass and rush-covered area (diam. 30m E-W; 29.3m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3.6-4m; int. H 0.2m at S to 1.05m at N; ext. H 0.85m at N to 1.3m at S) S-N-E and scarp (max. H 1m) elsewhere, with an outer fosse (Wth of top 3.7-4m; D 0.1-0.7m) W-N. There is no visible entrance. Rath (RO007-089----) is c. 210m to the SW.
