On top of a low rise. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 35.5m N-S; 32m E-W) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 3-5.2m; int. H 0.3-0.75m; ext. H 0.3m at SE to 1.5m at W), with an outer fosse (Wth 3.5m to 5.5m at NW; D 0.2-0.8m) SSW-N-SE. There is no visible entrance but the bank is incorporated in a field bank N-E, and a NE-SW field bank has removed the fosse at S. Rath (RO007-019----) is c. 170m to the N and rath (RO007-021----) is c. 60m to the SW. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
