On a shelf on a SE-facing slope overlooking the floodplain of the Boyle River and Lough Eiden, c. 350m to the E. Subcircular grass-covered area (int. dims 30.5m N-S; 25m E-W) defined by an overgrown stone spread (Wth 2.7m at N to 4.3-5m generally; int. H 0.3m at E to 0.6-0.8m generally; ext. H 0.3-0.5m E-S to 0.7-0.9m W-N). There is no visible entrance, but there is a house site (RO006-115002-) (int. dims 10m N-S; 5.2m) inside the perimeter at NE defined by the base of stone walls (Wth 0.8m) at N and W and the inner edge of the cashel perimeter at E.
