On flat low-lying ground. Described as a subcircular area (dims. 26m N-S; 23m E-W) defined by a wide earthen bank, with traces of a fosse at SE (Gannon 1972). It is now a circular grass and scrub-covered and slightly dished area (diam. 27.5m) defined by a scarp (H 0.2-0.8m).
