On a gentle W-facing slope. D-shaped area (dims 23.5m N-S; 23.5m E-W) in mixed woodland defined by an earthen bank (Wth 5m at W to 6.5m at N; int. H 0.3m at W to 0.9m at E; ext. H 1m at E to 1.4m at W) surmounted by a stone spread (Wth 2.5-3m; H 0.1m). The straight side at E is dug into the slope (D 0.5m). The bank is separated by a complete fosse (Wth of top 3.5m at S to 5m at W; Wth of base 1-2m; D 0.1-0.6m) from an outer earthen bank (Wth 3.5-4m; int. H 0.1m; ext. H 0.1m) NW-N. There is no visible entrance. Rath (RO006-043001-) is c. 80m to the NE.
