What is recorded here

On a S-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 30.5-31m) planted with deciduous trees defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3.7m at S to 8.2m at N; int. H 0.2m at S to 1.7m at N (upslope); ext. H 1.25m generally to 1.9m at W), and an outer flat-bottomed fosse (Wth of top 5.5m at S to 7m at N; Wth of base 2.6m at S; D 0.2-0.3m) N-NE and E-S. There is an outer bank (Wth 4.4m; int. H 0.1m; ext. H 0.2m at E to 1.4m at S (downslope)) and the inner bank is possibly revetted internally and externally by upright stones, but there is no recognisable original entrance.
