On a shelf of rock-outcrop. Subcircular grass-covered area (int. dims 25.3m E-W; 24m N-S) defined by a grass-covered stone spread (Wth 4-4.5m; int. H 0.5-0.7m; ext. H 0.6-0.9m) NW-SW with a gap (Wth 10m) SW-NW. The natural scarp (H c. 2m) of the terrace adds to the defences at the N. There is a house-site (RO006-084001-) (int. dims 4.8m E-W; 3.6m N-S) defined by stone spreads (Wth 1.5-2.5m; H 0.3-0.5m) on all sides except the N is inside the perimeter at S, where rock-outcrop is also visible. Cashel (RO006-085----) is c. 110m to the ESE.
