On top of a low shelf of rock outcrop on a gentle S-facing slope. Subcircular grass-covered area (int. dims 20m N-S; 18m E-W) defined by a scarp (H 0.4m at N to 1.55m at S), with a stone spread (Wth 2.5-4.2m; H 0.1-0.4m) on the perimeter E-W. Double facing-stones (Wth of wall 1.4m) are intermittently visible, and the interior is bisected by an ENE-WSW field wall. Templenadriney church (RO006-083001-) is c. 200m to the W, and rath (RO006-080----) is c. 200m to the N.
