On a rock outcrop rise in an undulating landscape. Aerial photographs (OS 1 3322-1) show an area of c. 10 ha with relict field banks creating long rectangular strips (dims c. 600m NE-SW x c. 50m NW-SE). These are not generally visible at ground level in reclaimed pasture, but a section of one excavated at its N end proved inconclusive (Henry 2004a). At the S end in an area of rock outcrop covering c. 2 ha field walls consisting of grass and moss-covered spreads (Wth c. 3-5m; H 0.5m) of large stones (dims c. 1m x c. 0.5m x c. 0.5m) create small fields (dims c. 15m x c. 7m to c. 15m x c. 15m) in which two house sites (RO006-078003-; RO006-078004-) can be recognised. These are rectangular one-room structures (int. dims 6m x 4.7m: 6.4m x 3.7m) defined by the remnants of stone walls.
