On a gentle E-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 52.5m E-W; 51.2m N-S) defined by an earthen bank and hedge (Wth 2.4-3.6m; int. H 0.4-0.6m; ext. H 0.75-1m) S-W-NE and a scarp (H 0.75-0.9m) elswhere. The outer edge is stone-revetted NW-E-S, but there is no visible fosse or entrance.
