At the crest of the SE-facing slope of a drumlin. Circular grass and rush-covered area (diam. 40m E-W; 37.5m N-S) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (at E: Wth 4.15m; int. H 0.25m; ext. H 1.8m; at N: Wth 5.3m; int. H 0.75m; ext. H 1.55m) and outer fosse which is re-cut as a drain (Wth of top 3.2-4.25m; D 0.3-0.5m). There are modern entrances at SSW and NNW. Rath (RO007-001----) is c. 190m to the NNE.
