Towards the top of the S-facing slope of a drumlin. There is no visible surface evidence of Killeenan church apart from a sandstone jamb (RO006-021004-) (H 0.2m) of a moulded doorway of medieval date set into the masonry wall of the graveyard (RO006-021002-) (dims 60m N-S; 36-40m E-W). A curving scarp (H 0.5-1m) E-S outside the E wall of the graveyard may be part of an ecclesiastical enclosure (RO006-021003-) (diam. c. 70m) surrounding the site.
