What is recorded here

On flat low-lying land beside what was an inlet on the NE shore of Upper Lough Gara and close to crannog (RO005-027----). The preserved remains of an adult female and infant with the bone handle of an implement dating to the Late Bronze Age or Early Iron Age was found during turf-cutting operations in 1959.
