On the W-facing slope of an E-W drumlin ridge. Subrectangular grass-covered area (dims 38.8m N-S; 31.5m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 5m; int. H 0.3-0.45m; ext. H 2-2.2m) SE-NW which is reduced to a scarp (H 1.4-1.6m) elsewhere, separated by a flat-bottomed fosse (Wth of top 7.5-9.5m; Wth of base 4-5.25m; D 0.6-1.4m) from a complete outer bank (Wth 3-4.7m; ext. H 0.7-1.2m), which has an external flat-bottomed fosse (Wth of top 4.5m; Wth of base 3m; D 0.5m) and third outer bank (Wth 3m; ext. H 1.2m) only SE-SW (max. ext. dims 67.3m N-S; 53.45m E-W). A gap (Wth 4m) in the middle bank at NE is the entrance.
