Not marked on any ed. of the OS 6-inch map. Situated on top of a ridge beside a disused roadway on the N shore of Lough Meelagh. A dry depression with an inscribed concrete cross erected in 1932 over it. There is no indication of antiquity but it is still venerated and regarded locally as the original site of St Lassir's well (RO004-002002-) which lies c. 230m to the SSE, while church (RO004-003001-) is c. 270m to the SE.
