Marked only on the 1914 ed. of the OS 6-inch map as an oval feature (dims. c. 30m NW-SE; c. 20m NE-SW), and situated on a shelf at the bottom of the N-facing slope of Ballyfermoyle Hill. This is a sand quarry, disused since the 1940s.
