Towards the N end of the NE side of a peninsula (dims c. 630m NW-SE; c. 150m NE-SW) jutting SE from the N corner of Lough Key. Oval area (dims 31m N-S; 24.5m E-W) within a coniferous forest defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4-4.5m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H c. 0.8m) NW-ENE which is reduced to a scarp (H 0.6-0.8m) elsewhere, and a fosse (Wth of base 1.4-1.8m; D 0.2-0.3m) W-S. There is no visible entrance.
