In a triangular bay (dims. c. 300m E-W at N; c. 250m N-S) at the N extremity of Lough Key, and now attached to the shore at N. Subcircular area (dims. 31m N-S; 28m E-W; H 0.5m) with a central platform (dims. 23.5m N-S; 18.5m E-W; H 0.2-0.3m) covered in mixed woodland. There is no evidence of timber features or of artificial construction.
