What is recorded here

Marked only on the 1914 ed. of the OS 6-inch map with no houses in the vicinity. Built in a field bank towards the bottom of the S-facing slope of a drumlin and c. 60m from a W-E stream. Circular stone-built chamber (int. diam. 1.1m; H 1.3m) with a lintelled roof. The lintelled entrance (Wth 0.5m; H 0.5m) is at SSW. The top protrudes above the field bank as an earthen mound (dims. 3m E-W; 2.6m N-S; H 0.4m). Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
