Situated on E facing slope of rising ground in undulating countryside. Only W half of site survives consisting of two earth and stone banks with wide intervening fosse (Wth 5m) and causeway entrance at S. Inner bank (Wth 3.5m; ext. H 1.5m max.) is best preserved at W and external bank (Wth 2.5m; ext. H 0.7m) is mainly constructed with stone. Chord measurement from NW to SE across interior measures 82m. The site originally was a large bivallate ringfort with approximate internal diameter of 85m N-S.
