According to local tradition there is a tunnel located inside this ringfort (OF044-005001-) (Stout 1984-5). No surface remains or any indication of a souterrain inside this ringfort. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Offaly' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
