On a low natural rise in upland area with ring barrow (OF043-068) immediately to the S. Triangular shaped standing stone (H 1.1m; 0.5m x 0.23m) aligned N-S which tapers at the top from E-W. Same site as OF043-073 The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Offaly' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
