Situated on West facing slope of rising ground in upland area. Roughly circular domed area (diam 18m N-S) enclosed by an earthen bank reduced to a scarp where it survives. Modern road intersects site from N to E with quarry in West quadrant. Domed interior probably the result of spoil from quarrying.
