Situated on S facing slope on rising ground in upland area. Circular area (diam 31m N-S) enclosed by an earthen bank (Wth 1m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1.5m) best preserved at N, intervening fosse (Wth 1m) and external bank (Wth 1.2m; ext. H 0.3m) visible at S only. Causewayed entrance (Wth 2.5m) at S. Interior of site slopes from N to S.
