Situated on top of high ground in upland area. Steep sided flat topped mound (H. 3.50m; top diam. 4m; base diam. 17.5m) of earth and stone construction with E and S side of mound badly damaged (result of modern quarrying) with evidence of a wide shallow fosse (Wth 3m) enclosing base of carn.
