Located on top of natural glacial knoll in upland area overlooking river to the N. Poorly preserved grass covered wall footings of a rectangular structure (OF042-021001-) with possible rectangular bawn to the N. The walls were constructed of roughly coursed limestone rubble with base batter evident at SE angle. No other architectural features visible. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Offaly' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
