Situated on high ground in upland area. Domed circular area (diam 60m) enclosed by earthen bank (Wth 3m; ext. H 0.5m) with external fosse (Wth 2m; ext. D 0.3m) which intersects field boundary at S. Causewayed entrance (Wth 4m) at N.
