Situated on a slight rise in upland area. Raised circular area (diam 33m N-S) enclosed by an earthen bank reduced in most places to a scarp (ext. H 1.7m), fosse (Wth 3m; ext. D 0.7m) with possible evidence of an external bank (Wth 1m; ext. H 0.5m) visible from S to W. The defences of the site are destroyed from NE through E to SE due to recent land improvements.
