Situated on top of high ground in upland area. Raised circular area (diam 35m N-S) enclosed by an impressive earthen bank (Wth 2m; int. H 1.7m; ext. H 4.5 - 6m), intervening fosse (W. 2-3m) and outer bank (Wth 2m; int. H 1.7m; ext. H 1m) which acts as a field fence at S with slight evidence of an external fosse from S to W. There is no clear evidence of an entrance feature although there is a gap (Wth 2m) at E and a gap (Wth 2m) at N. The outer bank is severely eroded from N to E.
