In level pasture, roughly circular area (66.5m N-S; 73.4m E-W) enclosed by an earthen bank (int. H 1.4m; ext. H 2.3m) with external fosse (Wth 2m; D 1.5m) and possible entrance gap (Wth 4m) at SW. Long low mound of earth and stone construction (L. 25m; Wth 8m; H 0.25m) located in the centre of the site.
