Poorly preserved raised oval shaped area (34m N-S; 46m E-W) defined by a scarp (H 1.3m) and partial fosse (ext. D 0.5m; Wth 2m) surviving from N to E. Telegraph pole located in the centre of the site. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Offaly' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
