What is recorded here

The site (L 3.1m; Wth 0.38m; D 0.11m) is orientated NNW-SSE and composed of seven longitudinal pieces of brushwood (diam. 0.025-0.045m), which are laid two pieces deep. The brushwood is very fragmented along the drain edge as a result of milling. These pieces are set 0.02-0.21m apart. The site continues to the NW, where the elements slope down into the peat, which is moderately humified Sphagnum with occasional Eriophorum.
