What is recorded here

The site (L 1.77m min.; Wth 1.18m; D 0.1m) is orientated N-S and is composed of over twenty-five closely set and longitudinally laid pieces of mixed brushwood and twigs. Twigs occur throughout the site but are concentrated in two beds. One bed, on the W side, consists of twigs (diam. 0.01m). The other bed, to the E, is larger and denser but consists of smaller twigs. The site is in well-humified Sphagnum peat with occasional ericaceous remains. Compiled by: Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College Dublin). Date of upload: 23 May 2011
