Two parallel split timbers and a roundwood in opposing drain faces (L 1.22m min.; Wth 0.82m; D 0.1m). The timbers (Wth 0.1-0.54m; D 0.05-0.08m) are 0.1m apart and are in extremely poor condition. These consist of a possible outer tangential split and a half-split. The site lies in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with ericaceous remains and some unidentified reeds. SMR OF018-182---- and SMR OF018-187---- to the NW may be related to this site. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2002. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
