What is recorded here

The site (L 24.86m; Wth 1.5m; D 0.81m min.) is orientated NE-SW and consists of 12 posts and stakes. Two pieces of fragmented horizontal brushwood are also associated with this site. The uprights (L 0.14-0.81m; diam. 0.036-0.08m) are regularly arranged, in general they are 0.3-2.2m apart with a cluster of three, which are closely set. They occur at 45-90° angles. Three of posts are split and multi-faceted metal-cut worked ends were recorded on four other elements. Compiled by: Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College Dublin). Date of upload: 23 May 2011
