A deposit of brushwood, mixed roundwoods, occasional twigs and a peg on the field surface (L 0.92m min.; Wth 0.9m min.; D 0.25m). Three roundwoods are orientated E-W, below which are a further five, orientated NW-SE. The brushwood (diam. 0.02-0.05m) is irregularly laid. A single peg, set at an angle of 85° is located at the S edge of the site. The wood is in a poor condition but sampling revealed better preserved material at a greater depth. This site lies in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with fibrous roots. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2002. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
