An irregular scatter of over fifteen pieces of brushwood on the field surface (L 3.07m; Wth 1.31m; D 0.05m). It appears to represent the remnants of a more substantial site that has been severely machine damaged. The brushwood (diam. 0.01-0.027m) has been fragmented into short lengths although it appears to be in situ. This surviving wood is in good condition and a number of toolmarks are present. The site is in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with frequent fibrous roots and occasional Eriophorum. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2002. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
