Unlocated togher within the vicinity of the town of Daingean, in 1600 the Lord Deputy reported to the Privy Council that they were now in a position to victual the fort of Philipstown (OF018-006001-) and to build again the Togher or causey which is the passage to the same and was formerly thrown down by the rebels (Lucas 1985, 51).
