Unlocated earthwork with townland that was identified as a potential archaeological monument by the Offaly Historical and Archaeological Society in 1974 (OHAS file 1974, 6). Described in 1974 as an 'Earthwork in hills at Ballyduff access by lane 150 yds. From road behind Wallace's House. Surrounded by stones and remains of a stone path. Some old trees and many young ones. On the esker' (OHAS file 1974). of doubtful antiquity. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Offaly' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
