A sparse deposit (Wth 1.12m; D 0.13m) of three pieces of brushwood and two roundwoods in the drain face. The site is situated 1.4m above subsoil, within fen peat. The site occurs in an area of natural wood horizons and its archaeological significance is unclear. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1997. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
