Two fragmented and partially disturbed pieces of alder brushwood (L 2.4m; Wth 0.2m; D 0.059m), orientated NNE-SSW. There is a degraded, metal-cut chisel point on one piece. The material is in poorly humified Sphagnum peat containing some Eriophorum. These pieces may relate to material noted to the SW. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1996. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
