What is recorded here

The site (L 7.96m min.; Wth 0.5m; D 0.128m) is orientated NE-SW on the field surface and is badly damaged by milling. It consists of a spread of brushwood and roundwoods. At its NE end, it consists of a linear arrangement of two deposits of brushwood, 0.8m apart. The wood is orientated approximately E-W. A further roundwood is noted c. 6m to the E and may be related to this site. Wood species include birch, alder and hazel. Compiled by: Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College Dublin).
