An irregular spread of three overlapping light roundwoods and a piece of brushwood (L 0.91m min.; Wth 0.2m; D 0.18m). The wood, which was identified as ash, willow and alder, has been milled and broken by machinery. This material is in poorly humified Eriophorum and Sphagnum peat. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1996. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
