What is recorded here

The site (L 10.64m; Wth 0.79m min.; D 0.045m) is orientated E-W and consists of a very dispersed spread of brushwood. At the central sighting, it consisted of two pieces of light hazel brushwood orientated N-S. Alder and willow were also identified. Each of the remaining sightings consisted of a similarly orientated single piece of brushwood. Woodworking was recorded at the most E sighting. All of the material was situated in well-humified Sphagnum peat in a zone of archaeological material located predominantly on the field surface.
