The site (Wth 3.4m; D 0.3m) consists of a discontinuous band of predominantly light brushwood in the drain face. Two deposits of wood c. 1m apart can be discerned possibly representing two distinct sites. Both deposits occur at the same level and consist of irregularly laid brushwood. The N deposit is somewhat deeper and more compact than the S deposit and includes some twigs. In the opposing drain face, only a single piece of worked, heavy brushwood is noted. Metal-cut worked ends are noted. The wood is located in well-humified woody, Sphagnum peat.
