The site (Wth 3.8m; D 0.18m) is orientated NW-SE and consists of a dense horizon of light brushwood, with the majority of pieces arranged longitudinally. The site is up to five pieces deep and is most dense towards the centre. No evidence for woodworking was evident. Alder, including alder root, predominated the wood species identified from this site with birch, oak and Pomoideae also present. The site is located in well-humified, woody, Sphagnum peat.
